How do you remove the time stamp from your messages in Windows Live Messenger 8.1? - windows live bug

Click Tools, then Options, then uncheck the messages and time stamps in messages "
1. Click on "Tools"
2. Select "Options"
3. On the left side, click News "
4. Uncheck "Show timestamps in the messages" box
5. Click "Apply"
6. Click "OK"
