Sprednek ... is wrong. Someone had a driver's license from my husband for 25 years and was arrested for DUI, use this license. (No photo ID) at the time. Applied
License lost when he returned to Alabama and was granted, and every three years has been renewed. Twenty years later, when it was time to renew the license, reported the state of Florida that my husband is not at the driving school, when he was arrested in Florida. Alabama held its license in Florida, until they prove who was in Alabama have a valid license for all years. The idiots have been cases before them, but also a copy of the license in Los Angeles and the evidence on the state of Florida. My husband has never been a DUI in the U.S. state of Florida. It took a lot of hard work with the State of Alabama, working with us to Florida before the publication of its license. The problem is that it creates a job, a record of impeccable character and a clean driving record required work. You can never be sure when and how long it takes for VA to catch about you, but someday they will. A small note is not worth what it costs, if they are made. To get paid for what they may not always be "over the shoulder."

so you know, my friend just stopped driving in Nevada, as a ticket to flash (no, was change lanes) 11 years ago. I take care of the tickets, if I were you

In North America, each state and / or province manages its own license and registration. Currently there are no "Reciprical" The agreement between the states, the cards from the others to collect.

So ... assuming you have a valid New York State address, and no problems with the registration authorities in New York.

Be wary of the next trip to the VA. If you have enough cards, they actually insist on buying next time you a ticket from there.
